CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEES. Full registration includes Name badge & printed material, Welcome BBQ Reception, Exhibit Hall Entry both days, Luncheon, Convention Awards Banquet, Continental Breakfast, Luncheon to Country store auction, access to Hospitality Suite & Seminars and closing ceremony. Note all prices are on a per person basis unless otherwise mentioned.

Initiation into the Royal Order of the Wouff Hong is available to any licensed amateur who is a member of the ARRL. The traditional ceremony is performed only at ARRL conventions. Wouff Hong sprange from the imagination of ARRL cofounder Hiram Percy Maxim, W1AW, as a means to combat poor operating practices.

An attractive Royal Order of the Wouff Hong certificate will be presented to each person who is initiated at the midnight ceremony which will take place Saturday in the Banquet Room.

The ceremony lasts about one hour and a $2.00 fee is payable at the Wouff Hong table.

  • Includes a 3-hour bus ride to Glennallen to the High Altitude Aurora Research Project facility in Gulkana, Alaska, and a 3-hour return trip to Anchorage. This trip is scheduled for Monday August 4 after the conference.

HALIBUT CHARTER, HOMER, ALASKA

  • A 'competitive' Halibut Charter
  • 3 - '6 pack' boats will be leaving together for a day of Halibut fishing with 18 spots open on a first come, first served basis. If our turn out is greater than 18, we have other ‘boats’ available.
  • Any ham operator wanting to participate can sign up and register on the website.
  • Costs per participant is: $250. This includes travel to and from Homer as well as the boat rental costs.
